What are the exams like?
The Specific Competency Tests are scored from 0 to 10. You will probably find a part of closed multiple-choice questions, and other open-ended questions You will be asked to write short answers or develop a topic. When you arrive at the testing center, go to the designated classroom to take the exam. To enter the classroom, you will be asked to verify your ID—it must be the same ID you used to register and be valid—and scan the code on your receipt. Your exam will then be printed and given to you. You will have 90 minutes to complete it.
Plan the solution
I see many students who start working on the PCE exam as soon as they receive it. I know time is tight, but it's always a good idea to carefully read the exam rules on the first page, as well as all the questions. It's advisable to develop a plan during those first few minutes. How am I going to solve this exam? My recommendation is that you start by tackling the medium-difficulty questions, then move on to the more challenging sections, and leave the easier questions for the end, when time is running out, fatigue sets in, and you need to work faster. However, if your speed isn't very high, it might be better to start with the simplest questions. Whichever approach you take, it should always be planned by you after reading the exam.
The exams will include a multiple-choice section and an open-ended question section. Open-ended questions should be answered in the space provided on the exam sheet, or on a separate sheet of paper.
Multiple-choice questions
In multiple-choice questions, knowing the correct answer isn't enough: marking it correctly is also very important. After the exams: accreditation and admission to university
When the PCE exams are finished, the process isn't over. From that moment on, an equally important phase begins: understanding the UNEDasiss accreditation, reviewing the grade, and correctly processing the university admission.
UNEDasiss accreditation and grade
The PCE results are published a few weeks after the exams. At that point, you'll have a couple of days to apply for a retake. reviewOnly do it when you are sure you can argue the reasons why you should get a higher grade.
