What will the 2026 PAU exam in Art History be like in Madrid?
On the day of the PAU test (formerly called EvAU, or EBAU) or university entrance exam, you will find the following exam structure:
- Question of termsYou will be shown 4 images and you must identify one artistic term for each one, giving a brief description of each term. Maximum score: 2 points.
- Topic to choose from the two proposals. Maximum score: 2 points.
- Choose 3 artists from 5, indicating the era, characteristics and outstanding works. Maximum score: 3 points.
- Analyze one of the two proposed works in the sheets, identifying, analyzing and commenting on it.

Five tips for preparing for the Art History exam
