The university entrance exam for students over 25 is ideal for those who didn't pass the Selectividad (university entrance exam ), are over 25 , and want to attend university in Spain. Furthermore, passing the Selectividad M25 is equivalent to a high school diploma (Bachillerato) if you have a secondary school diploma (ESO). The course starts on September 15th, but you can start later if you prefer . Our teaching system, which includes weekly tutoring sessions, will allow you to cover all the material before the end of the course.

Beginning of the course: 15 September of 2026.
End of the course: February 28, 2027.

Requirements

To be able to take the university entrance exam for people over 25, there are two requirements:

Be greater than 25 years or fulfill them before December 31 of the year of the call.
Students holding the title of baccalaureate that DO NOT have been Presentado o DO NOT hayan overcome the corresponding university entrance exam (Selectividad, PAU, EvAU, Specific Competency Tests), YES They will be able to access this route (Source).

The M25 Selectividad exam in Madrid

General Phase

It consists of three exercises:

Text commentary or development of a current general topic.
Spanish language.
Foreign language, to choose between German, French, English, Italian or Portuguese.

Specific Phase

The specific phase of the university entrance exam for students over 25 will be structured into five options. Each of these is linked to one of the five branches of knowledge.

Candidates will be examined on one of the five options of two subjects of their choice from those indicated below.

Sciences. Biology, Geology and Environmental Sciences, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
Arts and Humanities. History of Spain, History of Art, Philosophy and Geography.
Health Sciences. Biology, Geology and Environmental Sciences, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
Engineering and architecture. Geology and Environmental Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, Technical Drawing and Chemistry.
Social and Legal Sciences. Business Economics, Geography, History of Spain, Philosophy and Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences.

The final grade is calculated by averaging the grades from the general phase and the specific phase . To pass , you need two things:

Having at least 4 in the general phase.
Having at least 4 in the specific phase.

If you don't reach a 4 in either part, the average isn't calculated . When an average can be calculated, you need a final score of 5 or higher to pass the test. And if you pass but want to improve your score , you can retake the test in another session. In that case, only the new score counts if it's better than the previous one.
