Hi. In the English test I think there is an error in your answers, in the vocabulary question in textB. In d) Huge, it refers to a synonym in the third paragraph not in the second as you have put it. Therefore the answer would be tremendous.
Thank you
Hi, Sara! Thanks for letting us know - you're right! We have already changed it in the PDF, and we have included an annotation in the YouTube resolution. We appreciate your understanding, we correct the exams at full speed and it is inevitable that we make some mistakes. Thank you very much 🙂
Hello, in the history exams :
* in the type of font of the election results table, it does not match what the video says with the pdf in the exam of day 6 (in the video it says secondary and in the pdf it says primary).
* in the pdf of the exam of day 7 it says primary and secondary font in the same paragraph in the table of the railroads (the video I have not seen at the moment).
a greeting
Hello, Estrella!
Thank you for letting us know. We have corrected both errors in the PDFs. The correct answers are on YouTube 🙂
Thank you very much!
Hi! In the business economics exam, in the FIFO method there is an error as the ending stock of bottles would be 800, not 1000. Therefore, 800×14.1. You must have missed it! Thank you.
Hi, Alba!
Thanks for letting us know!
Hi, when will the ccss mate exam be corrected?
Hi, Alba!
As soon as our teacher has it corrected, we'll upload it 🙂
Best regards!
Good afternoon:
The answer of the Option A exam is not correctly corrected. In section b) TRUE, what was corrected by the teachers as correct is "Then I got an email saying.........................". In the video your teacher indicates another sentence that has not been given as correct by the correctors. Can you please clarify it?
Hello, Francisco!
If we are not mistaken, the English teacher both in the YouTube video and in the Blog indicates the answer you mention. Please let us know where you have been able to see another type of answer.
Thank you very much.
Best regards!
In the video and in pdf the answer shown by the teacher is: We were impressed by your resume, but........., however in the correction of the official exam that paragraph has not been given as correct, but the following one (Then I got an email saying......).
This is also reflected in other web pages in their correction, hence my question.
Hello, Francisco!
We have reviewed both the pdf and the video and the teacher at our center uses the sentence you are telling us about: "Then I got an email saying I wasn't a good fit, so they went with somebody else," she says.').
Here is the link in case you want to check it out: https://luis-vives.es/docs/examenes-resueltos/evau_junio_2022/ingles_evau_jun22.pdf
Best regards!
Good morning:
I think I got confused when I commented on the section. I am referring to the section
a) Not being 'cultural fit' is never used as an excuse to turn down candidates because of their
personality.
False. "`We were impressed by your resume, but you're not a cultural fit' is the 'it's not you, it's
me' of job rejections."
However, in the official correction, the following answer has been given as valid, giving as incorrect the answer indicated in the previous point:
It is vague, confusing and almost always means there was something about you personally they
didn't like but didn't want to say out loud.
Thank you for your interest.
Hello, Francisco!
None of our solutions are the official ones, they are the ones proposed by the teaching team. In this case the English language department believed that the published answer was the correct one (although the truth is that it was a somewhat ambiguous question). In any case, if the official correction of the exam considers the answer you are telling us to be valid, that answer will be the one that counts as correct.
Best regards and good luck!
