Did you know? PCE UNEDasiss
[Updated 2026]✅10 things you (maybe) don't know about UNEDasiss Accreditation

If you are an international student and want to access university in Spain, it is quite likely that you will have to apply for UNEDasiss accreditation and take the Specific Skills Tests, known as UNED Selectivity. In this other article We inform you about the registration and exam dates for both calls. But today we bring you 10 questions that (maybe) you don't know and that can guide you when applying for UNEDasiss accreditation and PCE in 2024.

And if you want Luis Vives to accompany you in the process, you can hire our service LV EduAssist, which includes assistance and guidance in the process of Studying in Spain as a foreigner.

1. Modality of Baccalaureate of Social Sciences and Humanities

Since 2024, Social Sciences and Humanities make up a single type of Baccalaureate. This modality gives access to careers such as Business Administration, International Relations, Law, Teaching or Translation and Interpretation, among others. Students who have previously requested UNEDasiss accreditation and have passed the UNEDasiss PCE and have been granted the Humanities modality do not need to take the CCSS Baccalaureate modality or take the Mathematics subject, since their record will automatically assign them the Social Sciences and Humanities.

2. Annex I students

Students who apply for UNEDasiss accreditation and come from Annex I educational systems (EU, China, IB and European Schools) will not need to contract the Baccalaureate Modality service. It will be recommended that, although not necessary, homologate their Baccalaureate in the Spanish Ministry of Education.

3. History of Philosophy in 2024

Starting in 2024, the subject of History of Philosophy will not be present in the registration as specific, only as a general core, but it will continue to weight 0.2 for universities (until further notice). Therefore, pay attention when applying online for the PCE UNEDasiss 2024.

4. Baccalaureate modality if you present Philosophy

In the previous case, a student takes two general cores, one modality core and one specific, for example:

  • Language and Text Commentary (general core)
  • History of Philosophy (general core from 2024)
  • Mathematics applied to Social Sciences (modality core)
  • Company and Business Model Design (specific)

The modality can be marked and approved with an average of 5 points. This requirement to accredit the modality with 4 subjects, two of them being a general core, is only carried out provisionally for students who present Philosophy in the PCE UNEDasiss.

5. General Baccalaureate in the PCE UNEDasiss 2024

Did you know that from 2024 in Spain there will be a new type of Baccalaureate? This is because the new Education Law (LOMLOE) has come into force. If you want to discover this and other Baccalaureate modalities in the UNEDasiss accreditation, and its relationship with university degrees, you have to read this info.

6. Nationality of the student's passport

If a document (passport) of a non-Spanish speaking nationality is presented at registration and the university requests Spanish language accreditation (for example, the public universities of Madrid), the student must take the official Spanish exams (SIELE o DELE, for example) and surpass the corresponding level.

Therefore, if you have a passport of two different nationalities (it is very common to find students with Argentine and Italian nationality, for example), you are interested in registering for the UNEDasiss PCE with someone whose nationality is from a Spanish-speaking country.

7. Colombian students with the ICFES test passed

If your educational system is the Colombian one and you passed the ICFES test with more than 200 points, you can apostille your academic documentation and take advantage of the conditions of access to the university of the agreement signed between Spain and Colombia. You have all the detailed information here.

8. Specific Skills Tests PCE UNEDasiss in different calendar years

We are very sorry, but you cannot combine grades from different calendar years when calculating your final UNEDasiss grade. For example, if last year you got a 10 in Mathematics, but you did not manage to pass the PCE, that grade will not be saved for the UNEDasiss PCE of 2024. Therefore, our recommendation is that ALWAYS if you need it, you appear for the extraordinary call of the PCE UNEDasiss. Oh, and the best way to prepare will always be with the intensive summer course by Luis Vives.

9. International students in Spain presenting the PCE UNEDasiss 2024

Every year, tens of thousands of international students want to prepare to enter university in Spain. In the last year, UNED received almost 25.000 applications for UNEDasiss accreditation from more than 100 different countries on five continents: France, Colombia, China, Ecuador, Tunisia, Korea, Australia, Argentina, United States, Peru, Iran, Morocco, Mexico, India, Venezuela... the list is endless!

10. Difficulty of the Specific Skills Tests UNEDasiss 2024

Is the UNED Selectivity difficult? Yes. The exams are quite difficult. You must keep in mind that the level of these tests is the same as that faced by Spanish Baccalaureate students, who prepare for it during their two years of Baccalaureate. The most difficult subjects, according to statistics, are Language, History of Spain, Mathematics and Physics. The subjects with the highest passing percentage are languages (English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese).

Study in Spain being from Ecuador. Requirements to approve Ecuadorian high school
🇪🇨Study in Spain being from Ecuador: an essential guide for your international educational experience

In recent times, young Ecuadorians have chosen Spain as a destination to pursue higher education. Whether to obtain a university degree or complete a higher degree training cycle. And this election goes beyond Ecuadorian borders. Spain also welcomes students from neighboring nations such as 🇭🇳Honduras, 🇬🇹Guatemala or 🇸🇻El Salvador. Spain emerges as a territory full of academic and professional opportunities for those who wish to venture into an international educational experience. We share the language, there are cultural similarities and, furthermore, the LATAM community in Spain continues to expand, ensuring a welcoming environment. In addition to these aspects, there are many other reasons that are worth considering if you are thinking of studying in Spain being from Ecuador.

Reasons to study in Spain from the perspective of an Ecuadorian student

  1. Educational Excellence: Spain has a solid academic tradition and is home to numerous universities of international prestige, guaranteeing a first-class education.
  2. Wide academic offer: Spain provides a diversity of academic programs in various disciplines, allowing Ecuadorian students to select the specialization they are most passionate about.
  3. Cultural and heritage wealth: Spain has a rich cultural heritage, with numerous museums, historical sites and artistic manifestations. They will enrich the life and learning experience.
  4. Access to Europe: Distances between European countries are short, and Spain provides the opportunity to travel and explore other destinations in an accessible way.
  5. Climatic and geographical diversity: From the warm Mediterranean beaches to the imposing mountains of the north. Spain offers a varied geography that meets a wide range of climate preferences and lifestyles.
  6. Enriching international experience: Studying in Spain makes it easier to connect with people from all over the world. This encourages cultural diversity and the creation of a global network of contacts.
  7. Promising job prospects: Many students choose to remain in Spain after graduating, as the country offers high employability rates in various industries.
  8. World-renowned gastronomy: As in many Latin American countries, Spanish food is wonderful. Provides students with a wide variety of dishes and culinary experiences.
  9. Vibrant university life: Spain has an active university life, with numerous extracurricular activities, clubs and events that complement the student experience.

The study process in Spain for a student from Latin America involves meeting a series of requirements. Students from Ecuador should keep this in mind. At the Luis Vives Study Center we are here to provide all the necessary information.

Steps and documentation necessary to study in Spain being from Ecuador

Like any LATAM student who aspires to study in Spain, Ecuadorians must meet general requirements to apply for admission to a Spanish university. Generally, it is required to have a qualification equivalent to the Spanish Baccalaureate. In many cases, they also pass a university entrance test, such as the UNEDasiss Specific Skills Tests.

  1. Legalization of the Baccalaureate degree in Ecuador: this involves managing the legalization of the Ecuadorian Bachelor's degree. Also carry out the corresponding process of the Hague Apostille in your country.
  2. Homologize the Ecuadorian Baccalaureate degree to the Spanish Baccalaureate degree: for this process, it will be necessary to present a certified copy of the original degree. You will also present the grades for the second and third year of Baccalaureate. A certified copy of the passport or identity document will also be required, along with the model 079 duly completed for university studies. Here You have explained, step by step, the requirements to validate the Baccalaureate degree in Spain.
  3. UNEDasiss accreditation application and registration in Specific Competence Tests (PCE): These tests take place in May and September. They are widely recognized by Spanish universities to admit international students. The preparation can be carried out both in Ecuador and in Spain, opting for training online o in-person.
  4. Once the PCE UNEDasiss tests have been passed: The UNED will issue the necessary accreditation for the University access. Your university admission grade will be calculated based on the grades obtained in the PCE and those of your already approved baccalaureate.

IMPORTANT! To present the PCE UNEDasiss tests, it is enough to start the homologation process; It is not necessary to have the definitive approval. You can estimate the approved Baccalaureate grade from your Ecuadorian Baccalaureate grade. This is because in Ecuador and Spain the score is from 0 to 10. It is possible that with the homologation your grade will drop a little.

We leave you a real image of what the Bachelor's degree in Ecuador looks like. Also from the Hague Apostille, which verifies the authenticity of your Ecuadorian Bachelor's degree.

Reasons to choose Spain if you are a Korean student

  1. Excellence in education: Spain has a solid academic tradition and is home to several internationally renowned universities.
  2. Breadth of academic programs: Spain offers a variety of academic programs in different disciplines.
  3. Cultural and heritage wealth: Spain has a rich cultural heritage, with numerous museums, historical sites and artistic expressions. Spanish culture is especially attractive to inhabitants of the other end of the globe.

  9. Vibrant university life: University life in Spain is dynamic, with numerous extracurricular activities, clubs and events that complement the student experience.

Steps and documentation necessary to study in Spain as a Korean student

Asian students who aspire to study in Spain must meet general requirements to be admitted to a Spanish university. In general terms, it is required to have a qualification equivalent to the Spanish Baccalaureate. In many cases you will also need to pass a university entrance test, known as UNED Selectivity: the UNEDasiss Specific Competencies Tests.

  1. Legalization of the High School Diploma in Korea: for this, you must manage the legalization of the Korean High School Graduate title (고등학교). You will also have to complete the corresponding Hague Apostille process in your country.
  2. Professional from the Korean Secondary Degree to the Spanish Baccalaureate Degree: this process involves presenting a certified copy of the original degree. You will also present the grades from the last three years: 10, 11 and 12 of the Godeung Haggyo Jol-eop. In addition, a certified copy of the passport or identity document and the model 079 duly completed for university studies. Here You have explained, step by step, the requirements to validate the Baccalaureate degree in Spain.
  3. Request the UNEDasiss accreditation and registration in Specific Competence Tests PCE. These university entrance tests are in May and September and are recognized by Spanish universities to admit international students. You can prepare for these tests both in Korea and in Spain, but always with Luis Vives! You can choose from our training online o in-person.

IMPORTANT! To present the PCE UNEDasiss tests, it is sufficient to have started the homologation process; It is not necessary to have received the definitive approval. You can estimate the approved Bachelor's grade from your Secondary School grade. In the South Korean educational system the scoring scale goes from 0 to 100, while in Spain it goes from 0 to 10. So, to know what approximate grade you will have in the homologation, it is enough to move the comma to the left once. For example, if you have an 87 on your Korean high school transcript, your high school grade approved in Spain will be 8,7. Maybe something minor, but never major.

We provide you with a real view of what your Secondary School degree will look like once it is approved for the Spanish Baccalaureate. Yes, it is not the best photo you will find on the web. But we wanted to show you the REAL aspect, it is the image provided by a student from our PCE UNEDasiss school :)

Educational Reform of Spain LOMLOE - Luis Vives Study Center
🧾I want to go to study in Spain: How does the new educational reform affect me?

If you want to study at university in Spain and your baccalaureate is of foreign origin, you are surely wondering how the entry into force of the LOMLOE educational reform will affect you.

Continue reading, because this article will answer all your doubts: we tell you the things that have changed, but also those that remain the same as before.

What things continue as before?

The process that foreign students who want to study at a Spanish university must follow is similar to previous years:

  • First of all, you should know that in order to apply for admission to the university you will have to validate your Secondary or Baccalaureate degree.
  • Furthermore, for most access to Spanish universities you will have to obtain the UNEDasiss accreditation, which will match your academic record to that of Spanish students, so that you can apply for a place in the university degree you want.
  • If you come from a non-Spanish-speaking country, you will have to prove an adequate level of Spanish through an official qualification, such as the DELE or SIELE.

In short, your path to achieving success in Spain will be like the one we explained to you in this article.

What things have changed with the new educational reform in Spain?

The changes of the new educational reform (LOMLOE) in access to university for foreign students who want to study in Spain mainly affect the UNEDasiss Specific Competencies tests. This is because these tests must adjust to the characteristics of the new law.

This means that the contents of the exams are different from those before 2024. The name of the subjects has changed, the syllabus of most of them has changed, and even the way of evaluating the exams. For all this, don't you think it's a good idea to prepare yourself with our courses?

But there are also changes in the structure of subjects that you must choose in the PCE. For the PCE Selectivity in 2024, UNED has established four Baccalaureate modalities. The student must choose one of these routes to take his PCE exams, depending on the career he wants to access (remember that you can review here university courses offered in Madrid).

  • Science and Technology Option. For Engineering or Health careers, among others.
  • Social Sciences and Humanities Option. For Business or Philology majors, among others.
  • Arts Option. For careers such as Art History or Fine Arts, among others.
  • General Baccalaureate Option. This route is a novelty of the LOMLOE, which allows students to accredit a more general route. It gives access to a wider range of university courses, such as Tourism, International Relations, Philosophy or Criminology, for example.

How can I know which subjects I have to choose in the PCE?

We hope that with this article, it has become clear to you how the changes of the new LOMLOE educational reform in Spain may affect you. If you want to know how many subjects you have to take the exam in the PCE and what these subjects should be, you have to know that this will depend on the country where you obtained your baccalaureate, the Autonomous Community in which you want to study and the specific degree in which you want to study. that you want to enter. In this article We tell you everything about it. If you have any questions, you can leave us a comment.

PCE grade calculator for university access for foreigners. Luis Vives Study Center
💡 PCE UNEDasiss grade calculator

Hello, Vivers! Today we bring you magic. Students with a foreign baccalaureate who are preparing for university access through the UNEDasiss Specific Skills Tests always ask us how to calculate what grades you need to get in the PCE Selectivity exams to access the university degree you want.

To know what grade you must achieve to access the university degree you want, you can consult the cut-off marks of Madrid public universities. If you want to know what cut-off marks are and how they are calculated, take a look at this another article from our blog.

The cut-off marks that you must review in this table are those of Group 1, to which students with a high school diploma equivalent to Spanish belong. These scores are between a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 14.

How is the university entrance score calculated?

To calculate what would be your university entrance note, you should know that the UNEDasiss accreditation will give you a score of 5 to 10, and it will be the destination university that will raise you up to four additional points, multiplying by 0,2 the two PCE subjects in which you have obtained the best grades, as long as when these weight 0,2 for the degree you want to study. For its part, the UNEDasiss grade is calculated with the high school grade and the results of the PCE. We explain it to you with the following formulas:

UNEDasiss score (up to 10 points) = 4 + NMB*0,2 + M1*0,1 + M2*0,1 + M3*0,1 + M4*0,1

  • NMB = Average high school grade – It is the grade of your high school approved by the Spanish Ministry of Education, or calculated by UNED itself.
  • M1: Subject 1.
  • M2: Subject 2.
  • M3: Subject 3.
  • M4: Subject 4.

*In the calculation of the final UNEDasiss grade, only PCE grades in which at least a 5 has been obtained are taken into account.

Access grade (up to 14 points) = UNEDasiss Qualification + 0,2*M + 0,2*M

  • M are the two subjects in which you obtain the best grade in the Specific Skills Tests, as long as they weight 0,2 for the career you want and you have obtained at least a 5 in the PCE exam.

Baccalaureate modality

In the public universities of Madrid, as an essential requirement for access to the university for foreigners, having the baccalaureate modality is accredited. This is marked by the subject that you chose as the core of the itinerary. To accredit it, in the PCE exams you take, you must have a minimum grade of 5 in the general core subject, the itinerary core subject and one of the two specific subjects or have an average grade of 5 in the 4 subjects.

If you don't know which subjects you should choose for the PCE exams, remember that you can always consult this article.

Another question that you often ask us is how many subjects you should choose when taking the PCE UNEDasiss exams. It will always depend on where you obtained your high school diploma:

  1. Students with an International Baccalaureate degree: if you have studied your baccalaureate in an EU country that has a reciprocity agreement (see countries), or an International Baccalaureate (IB), it is recommended that you take two to three subjects. If three subjects are presented, the universities will take only the two best grades to calculate the access grade.
  2. Students in possession of the Baccalaureate degree who are not members of the EU and without international agreements for the recognition of the Baccalaureate degree: in this case, you must validate your high school degree, and take the UNEDasiss PCE, depending on the destination university.

3. What happens if I fail any of the PCE UNEDasiss exams or do not reach the cut-off mark for the degree I want to access?

This is the question you ask us most. If you do not reach the cut-off grade because you fail one of the PCE-UNEDasiss exams or because you have not achieved enough grade to enter the career you want, we give you different options to access that university degree:

  1. If in the ordinary call you have not obtained the results you needed, because you have failed all or any of the subjects, you will be able to take the exam again for the subjects you want in the extraordinary call of that same academic year. Your UNEDasiss file will be completed based on the best results obtained in both calls, combining the grades from the ordinary and extraordinary exams. You have to know that the grades you have obtained in an academic year will be valid for two years.
  2. In the event that you do not reach the cut-off mark with the grades of the ordinary and extraordinary call of the same academic year, you will be able to take the following academic year. If you do not reach the score to reach the cut-off grade required by the university, we recommend that you submit all the PCE again. On the other hand, if you have a tenth left to reach the cut-off mark, you will be able to take the exam only in the two (or three) subjects that count in the university admission phase.

As a last note, we remind you that, when calculating the subjects, subjects with a grade lower than 5 will never count for grading. If you want to know the grades you need to get to reach the cut-off grade you want, you can see it in our grade calculator.

4. Is the type of exam the same in all autonomous communities?

Short answer: no. The UNEDasiss PCE exams, although they are the same in most communities, may vary. The autonomous communities in which the exam typology varies from the UNED standard exam are the communities where EBAU is required: Andalusia, Cantabria, the Basque Country and the Balearic Islands.

5. What level of Spanish is necessary to access university?

Students from a non-Spanish-speaking country must prove B1 knowledge of Spanish. We advise you to check the level of Spanish required at your destination university. For example, in the universities of Madrid, the required level is B2, but this may vary depending on the access requirements of each university.

From our Spanish department for foreign students, we will be able to advise you on everything necessary to prove your level of Spanish.

We hope we have answered all your questions regarding the PCE UNEDasiss exams. Otherwise, you can contact us, by phone, e-mail o WhatsApp and we will answer any other questions you may have.

Weightings 2024 - Luis Vives Study Center
⭐WEIGHTINGS [Madrid 2026] | How they work

Hello, Vivers! Do you already know the note what you need to enter the career you wantIf you are studying to get into university, you also need to know how to choose the subjects you should prepare for the Selectividad exams, both PAU and PCE UNEDasiss, and for this it is very important that you understand what the weighting of subjects is in the different public universities of Madrid for 2026, how they work and how they are calculated.

Students who want to take the university entrance exams (PAU) or theUNEDasiss Specific Competence Tests They must take exams in subjects that are related to the university degree they want to access.

In this way, the public universities of Madrid assign, for each degree, a value (weighting) to each subject that you can take the Selectivity exam, depending on its relationship with the degree. For example, to enter engineering, Mathematics and Physics have the highest possible weighting, because they are closely related to that career.

At Luis Vives we have a permanently updated document with the 2026 weighting table of the universities of Madrid. We explain how to understand this table in our video about weightings of Selectivity in Madrid.

If you review it, you will see that this value can be of three types:

  • Black color: the subject does NOT weight.
  • Value 0,1: the subject has a certain relationship with the university degree.
  • Value 0,2: the subject is totally linked to the university degree and has the highest weighting value.

What does this mean? That in your Selectivity subject structure, you must include subjects that weight 0,2 for the grade or grades you want to access.

How will the weighting system work in the PAU or PCE exams in Madrid in 2026?

Once you have received your CAU university admission score (I think you should read our article on the court notes in Madrid), which is calculated up to a total of 10 points, you can increase up to 4 additional points using the Selectivity subjects that are weighted for the career you want. This calculation is carried out by the destination universities, and they do it by multiplying your grade in those subjects by the value of your weighting.

An example:

Let's imagine that you want to enter a career such as Psychology at the Complutense University, whose cut-off grade is approximately 10,5. After taking the Selectivity, your CAU is 8,6.

As the branch that you have prepared is Health, it is normal that in Selectivity you have taken subjects such as Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. Let's say your notes are:

  • Math: 6
  • Biology: 9
  • Chemistry: 7

These three subjects weight 0,2 (the maximum) for Psychology. The calculation that is carried out is to take the two best grades of those subjects and multiply it by 0,2 (multiply by two and put a comma).

So according to this calculation:

  • Biology → Grade: 9 → After applying weighting: 1,8
  • Chemistry → Grade: 7 → After applying weighting: 1,4

Thus, your Admission Grade will be the sum of your CAU and the increase due to the weightings:

NA = CAU + Subjects that weigh → Admission grade = 8,6 + 1,8 + 1,4 = 11,8

With this, given that the admission grade is higher than the cut-off grade they ask for for Psychology, you will have many options to be assigned a place for that degree.

Important questions to consider about weightings

Now that you understand how the weightings work, we'll clarify some other common questions that our students ask us about, both for PAU and PCE exams.

When do the weights come out?

Universities usually publish the weights for the new year in the month of September from the previous year. Specifically, the universities of Madrid published the weighting table for the 2026 admission in September 2025. In any case, these weightings do not change much from one year to the next, so to choose your subjects you can always review the document from the previous year.

Do I need a minimum score to apply weighting?

Yes! You need to approve. If you do not get a minimum of 5 out of 10 in the subject, the weighting calculation will not be applied.

How do I know if I will get the grade they ask me for?

Calculating your grade taking into account the weightings can be somewhat confusing, so it is best that you use our PAU grade calculator, or the PCE UNEDasiss grade calculator.

What subjects are most important for the grade I want?

The best thing to do is look at the 2026 weighting document for Madrid universities, which is valid for both PAU and PCE, but here are some examples:

  • For engineering: Mathematics, Physics and Technical Drawing. Also Chemistry for some of them, and even Biology.
  • For Health or Health Sciences majors: Biology, Chemistry, but also Mathematics and Physics.
  • For Social Sciences majors: Business Economics, Mathematics applied to Social Sciences, Geography, but also Philosophy and Art, on some occasions.
  • For Arts and Humanities majors: Philosophy, Art, and sometimes also Geography.

We hope we have been of help to you. If you don't know which subjects are important for your degree, leave us a comment below!

Cut-off marks 2023 - Luis Vives Study Center
⭐CUT NOTES (Madrid 2026) | We tell you EVERYTHING

Hello, Vivers. What are the cut-off marks and how are they calculated? How many times do we hear these questions every year! It's understandable. All students preparing for university entrance exams in 2026 (PAU, EvAU, EBAU, PCE UNEDasiss Specific Competences Tests or Over 25s) need guidance regarding the cut-off marks and the grade you need to obtain in the exams to be able to access that university degree you like. And that's what today's article is about.

The cut-off grade for a university degree is the admission grade of the last student who entered that grade, in order of grade.

Calculate the 2023 cut-off mark - Luis Vives Study Center

We have a permanently updated document where you can find updated cut notes of the public universities of the Community of Madrid. And don't forget to visit our YouTube video about what cut-off marks are and how they are calculated, in which we explain very interesting things.

What are cutoff marks?

Before defining what cutoff marks are, we have to differentiate three concepts:

  • Selectivity Note: It is the grade you get in the general phase of the university entrance exams.
  • University Access Qualification (CAU): is the grade resulting from the weighting of your Baccalaureate and your Selectivity (60%-40%).
  • Admission note: is the sum of your CAU with your grade from the specific phase of the Selectivity.

The cut-off marks are published annually by the university district of Madrid, and are reference grades that students must achieve in order to enter the degree they want.

For example, if the cut-off grade in 2024 for Medicine at the Complutense University of Madrid is 13,26, this means that in 2026 you must achieve that admission grade at least to be able to enter that career, although this has some nuances that we will see later.

How are the cut-off marks calculated?

As we have said, the cut-off grade for a degree is the admission grade of the last student who enters that university degree.

Let's give an example:

According to the latest data, the UCM offers 320 places in the Medicine degree. In the last year, 7120 people applied for a place in that grade. The admission method is to put those 7120 people in order of grade. The first candidate to enter is the one who has obtained the best admission grade. In this way, the first 320 candidates access Medicine, once they have been placed in that order. The last candidate who enters (number 320) is the one who makes the cut... that's why they are called CUT NOTES 😀

The million dollar question: will I be able to get into the career I want?

This depends on several factors. First of all, from your notes baccalaureate and the results you obtain in the Selectivity. The better they are, the more options you will have to get a place in that grade you like.

A characteristic of the cutoff notes is that they are indicative. In 2024, the cut-off mark for Medicine was 13,26; But if students obtain better grades in 2026, or there are more candidates to enter that degree, or the UCM offers fewer places, the cut-off grade may rise. Remember that the maximum admission grade is 14,00.

According to the trend of recent years, most of the cut-off marks have been increasing, so you should try to exceed the target cut-off score by several tenths.

In case you haven't seen it yet, we have two articles where we help you calculate your admission grade if you are going to take the University entrance exam (PAU), or if you are preparing the Specific Skills Tests PCE UNEDasiss.

What should I do if I don't get the grade? I got a 13,10, can I apply for a place in Medicine?

Surely you are wondering what happens if you don't reach the cut-off mark they ask for in your career. Of course you can apply for a place in the grade you want, although that does not guarantee you entry. But in case you stay close to the note they ask for, also You MUST ask for it. Although the official cut-off mark is 13,26, they may call you in case there is a vacancy to study that degree. Note that There are people who, once admitted to a degree, decide not to confirm their enrollment.. That is why Universities make several calls (first call, second call, etc.) until the places are filled.

Remember that during the admission process to the university in Madrid (in June or July) You can indicate up to a total of 12 university degrees of interest, in order of priority. The unique university district of Madrid, made up of the six public universities, will assign you a place in the university degree that your admission grade allows.

I have not taken the “normal” Selectividad (PAU, EvAU, EBAU, PCE UNEDasiss), is my cut-off mark the same as those for those routes?

If you want to access university through the access route for over 25s, over 40s, over 45s or through your university degree, your cut-off marks are different. On some occasions, universities make them public through their websites, and on other occasions you must consult directly with them what grade you must achieve to obtain your place.

We hope we have helped you. We always tell you the same thing: don't think too much about the cut-off grade, dedicate yourself to doing your best, so that you can have a greater number of options to enter many different university degrees.

What is the cut-off mark for the career you want to enter? Leave us a comment! Much encouragement.
